This page shows how the money raised by FOGG is spent at the a school as well as some of the wonderful events which enrich the lives of our pupils, families and the wider Girton community.
Through our events which have included Autumn and Spring Jumble Sales, our popular Christmas Fair, Committee and class cakes sales, Easter Events and a summer a-thon sponsored event, FOGG has funded many projects and items for Girton Glebe Primary School including;
• School-wide Mathletics subscription
• forest mural
• flamenco workshop
• drumming workshop for KS1 and KS2
• subscriptions to ‘First News’ junior newspaper and educational
magazines
• gardening/environmental enhancements
• a Year 6 SATs party and leavers’ presents
• three new games top picnic benches and outdoor games
equipment (including skipping ropes, balance boards,
seesaw & summer skis) from the Co-op Community Fund
• Class books
• Teaching subscriptions to aid planning for class curriculums
The Music Legacy Fund, managed by FOGG, has funded music tuition, Singfest and Sing Up, repaired musical instruments for loan to pupils and supported the school Orchestra and Choir.
