Lets get ready to Jumble!

If you have the urge to declutter, then go for it, because in less than 2 weeks, our Autumn Jumble sale will be held on Saturday 28th March, 11am – 1pm.

Bags2School bags for donations have gone out to the children in school bags – look out for them! Donations can be dropped at the front entrance from Monday 23rd September.

All donations of clean, good quality clothes, shoes, books, toys, baby items, school uniform, DVDs & CDs, bric-a-brac, jewellery etc gratefully received. Please note we can’t accept electrical items, videos, duvets or pillows.

The jumble sales are brilliant fundraisers for our school, so we need as many hands as possible to sort, sell and also very importantly tidy and disperse of the remaining jumble at the end of the sale.

Please sign up to help on the doodle poll:

We sort the jumble on Friday 27th September in the hall after school. There will be be refreshments for anyone who helps, plus the children can watch a dvd to keep them entertained – it’s usually a fun event for all.

Please donate jumble, and come to help your school!

Friends Of Girton Glebe, FOGG, is Girton Glebe’s PTA.

We are a registered charity run by a dynamic and dedicated group of parents and school representatives. FOGG’s purpose is to support our school. We do this throughout the year with regular fundraising activities and events. All funds raised go towards the learning and wellbeing of the children at Girton Glebe, and our events help build a vibrant and cohesive community.

We have a rolling calendar of events including class cake sales which always go down a treat, well attended jumble sales and a very popular Christmas Fair, all run with the help of a merry band of volunteers from across our school community.

We have successfully raised funds for big and small projects including Mathletics, Forest School resources, World Celebration Dance workshops, Artsmark Award, Science week workshops, the 65th Anniversary celebration day and much more. With new projects and ideas taking shape, the next twelve months will be a busy period for the school and for FOGG.

Girton Glebe Primary School is at the heart of our village and FOGG is here to support the school and its community.
