‘Fun’tastic Christmas Fair

Thank you to everyone who helped make Saturday’s Christmas Fair a huge success. We had a great afternoon with lots of visitors. It was lovely to watch the children visiting Santa, to listen to the school and community choirs and to enjoy the different stalls, both the schools ones and the community stalls.

We raised just over £2,300 which is a fantastic amount and will make such a difference our children and our school. Thank you to everyone who gave up their time, donated for the stalls and donated raffle prizes. We had some amazing prizes this year! We are always grateful for all of your help.

If you took any photos and would like to share them with us please send them to contactfogg@gmail.com.

We hope you enjoy the last few weeks of term and look forward to seeing you at our Tree Shred and Repair Cafe on Sunday 5th December 2020 from 12 to 2pm.

Thank you!

The FOGG Committee

Friends Of Girton Glebe, FOGG, is Girton Glebe’s PTA.

We are a registered charity run by a dynamic and dedicated group of parents and school representatives. FOGG’s purpose is to support our school. We do this throughout the year with regular fundraising activities and events. All funds raised go towards the learning and wellbeing of the children at Girton Glebe, and our events help build a vibrant and cohesive community.

We have a rolling calendar of events including class cake sales which always go down a treat, well attended jumble sales and a very popular Christmas Fair, all run with the help of a merry band of volunteers from across our school community.

We have successfully raised funds for big and small projects including Mathletics, Forest School resources, World Celebration Dance workshops, Artsmark Award, Science week workshops, the 65th Anniversary celebration day and much more. With new projects and ideas taking shape, the next twelve months will be a busy period for the school and for FOGG.

Girton Glebe Primary School is at the heart of our village and FOGG is here to support the school and its community.
