Welcome back after a glorious 2019 Easter Weekend!

Well, hasn’t it been lovely! Hopefully everyone enjoyed the two weeks or so away from the Glebe, and are returned full of vim and vigour for the summer term 🙂

Last term ended on a happy note with the Easter event. It was a joy to help at this event – the kids always have a great time naming the Easter cuddly, hoopla-ing the Bunny and hunting for eggs and ducks.

Thank you for all the chocolate donations too from parents / staff  that helped to make the tombola a tremendous success. A MASSIVE thank you to the helpers behind the wall of children vying for winning tickets.  The event was loads of fun and raised a whopping £480. Well done everyone!

See you soon at the next event /meeting!

Friends Of Girton Glebe, FOGG, is Girton Glebe’s PTA.

We are a registered charity run by a dynamic and dedicated group of parents and school representatives. FOGG’s purpose is to support our school. We do this throughout the year with regular fundraising activities and events. All funds raised go towards the learning and wellbeing of the children at Girton Glebe, and our events help build a vibrant and cohesive community.

We have a rolling calendar of events including class cake sales which always go down a treat, well attended jumble sales and a very popular Christmas Fair, all run with the help of a merry band of volunteers from across our school community.

We have successfully raised funds for big and small projects including Mathletics, Forest School resources, World Celebration Dance workshops, Artsmark Award, Science week workshops, the 65th Anniversary celebration day and much more. With new projects and ideas taking shape, the next twelve months will be a busy period for the school and for FOGG.

Girton Glebe Primary School is at the heart of our village and FOGG is here to support the school and its community.
